FAQ
Why “Podiatry and Chiropody”? What is the difference?
The titles Podiatrist and Chiropodist are interchangeable and both are protected titles. ‘Podiatry’ is a standardised term used throughout the world to refer to a health professional who specialises in assessing and treating foot, ankle and lower limb conditions. This is now widely accepted in the UK also.
The title of Podiatrist or Chiropodist may only legally be used by a qualified person who has a degree in podiatry and is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
What qualifications and experience do you have?
Our three podiatrists, Martin, Angie and Libby all hold degrees which involved over 1,000 hours of clinical experience throughout their three-year study at the Leaf Hospital - University of Brighton. This is augmented by over 10 years each in practice for Martin and Angie, and 3 years for Libby Rodriguez.
How do I book an appointment?

Do I need a GP referral?
